Born and raised in the vibrant sunshine state of Florida, Dr. Rodger Thomas has been immersed in its culture since 1970. His journey through life has been a rich tapestry of diverse experiences, each contributing to the colorful mosaic of his existence.

The foundations of his academic pursuits were laid at Nova High School, where he graduated in 1984. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of a trajectory that would see him soar to greater heights in the realm of education.

His thirst for knowledge led him to Worcester State University in Massachusetts, where in 1992, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree, a testament to his dedication and perseverance.
Undeterred by the challenges of academia, he embarked on a quest for deeper understanding, enrolling at Covington Theological Seminary. Here, his scholarly endeavors culminated in the attainment of both a Master’s and Doctorate in Biblical Counseling, marking him as a beacon of wisdom in matters of faith and spirituality.

But the pursuit of knowledge knows no bounds, and he continued to expand his horizons at Newburgh Theological Seminary, where Dr. Rodger Thomas was conferred with a PhD in Christian Behavioral Health. His doctoral dissertation, titled “Anakainosis,” stands as a testament to his innovative approach to spiritual cognitive behavioral therapy, drawing inspiration from Romans 12:1-2.

Beyond the confines of academia, our subject has left an indelible mark through his myriad accomplishments. From serving as a National Ski Patroller to commanding the Sons of The American Legion, his leadership and commitment to service have touched countless lives. As an EMT/Firefighter in Auburn, Massachusetts, and a member of the Pompano Beach Ocean Rescue team, he has exemplified bravery and selflessness in the face of adversity.
His mastery of diverse disciplines extends to martial arts, where he holds a second-degree black belt, a testament to his discipline and dedication. As a member of Toastmasters International, he has honed his communication skills, achieving the prestigious designations of Competent Communicator Gold and Competent Leader Silver.
Professionally, he has served as the Director of Operations for RE/MAX InterAction in Tamarac, where his leadership propelled the agency to become the 7th fastest-growing RE/MAX in the state of Florida, a testament to his acumen and strategic vision.
In the later part of his life, he channeled his passion for education and community serving as a teacher at Christian Life Center, where he shared his wisdom alongside the transformative program of Celebrate Recovery. Additionally, his course, Anakainosis, was being taught at the SALS Community in Ft Lauderdale, offering hope and healing to individuals transitioning from incarceration.
